In a world where travel between dimensions is possible, an interdimensional police force known as RIFT works to keep the peace across countless realities. When a mysterious figure called "Suspect X" steals a dangerously powerful weapon and warns top RIFT agent Zahra Sinclair to abandon the organization, she sets out to track him across a series of bizarre parallel worlds. Using her versatile proton slinger to swing, grapple, and fight her way through each dimension, Zahra gathers clues and closes in on the culprit, only to uncover unsettling truths about the case and RIFT itself.
